During the 2020 coronavirus pandemic quarantine, the Whiskey Sour Happy Hour, an online offshoot of Helms’ live show at Los Angeles nightclub Largo, airs every Wednesday through May 13th. Yola, Rodney Crowell, Robert Ellis, Chris Thile, Sarah Jarosz, Rhiannon Giddens and Francesco Turrisi, Aoife O’Donovan, and Watkins Family Hour are slated for future episodes, with more guests to be announced later.
The Made Shop is a shape-shifting design studio based in Denver and L.A. They make brands, art, objects, spaces, and experiences. The studio created these amazing posters, the key art and digital marketing materials for this special event. Due to the quarantine, the marketing had to be entirely digital… so they designed the artwork to be modular, taking it to pieces for social media posts.
